Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics! Can you believe we're already in February? One month down in 2021 on the long journey to Christmas! Though, when you think about it, Leon Day is only Five Months away; the Fourth of July is only six months away, which is when the back to school stuff starts going back up in Target, which is a big milestone reached; and the Ber Months are only eight months away, at which point it's all down hill! It'll be here before you know it!
This week, after briefly touching on the Inauguration of Joe Biden and Anthony's new Batman tattoo, the elves settle in to discuss the 1994 dark comedy film, Mixed Nuts! The elves far all over the spectrum when it comes to this American remake of a classic french film, however, with Anthony absolutely fawning over it, Julia really liking it, and Thom finding himself not impressed. Regardless, the hosts have a fun time chatting about this hysterical movie, its incredibly talented cast, and reciting quotes-a-plenty for this film which is most definitely a Christmas movie! And, Anthony makes history with the score he bestows upon it given the fact that Adam Sandler is one of its stars!
So, settle in beside your fire, close your eyes to pretend your Christmas lights are still up, relax, and kick off February with this fun-filled episode you're sure to enjoy! And don't forget - keep your eyes on your podcast feeds this Thursday for "Chapter One" of Another Christmas Story!

Forget Ever After, Just Live Happily. (Godmothered)
Monday Jan 25, 2021
Monday Jan 25, 2021
Happy Monday, Christmas fanatics! This week, Julia, Thom, and Anthony travel to Motherland to cover the 2020 original, Disney Plus holiday film, Godmothered! There's a lot of love to go around this week for this heartwarming family comedy, and while there is some cynicism on Anthony's part as to whether or not this movie rips off (rather than pays homage) to a plethora of films that came before it, Thom counters such cynicism with hilarious quotes-a-plenty! Of course, the pivotal question is raised - is this actually a Christmas film or is it just a film set at Christmas? If it's the latter, how will that affect the score? And speaking of scores, how much longer are listeners of this show going to drive Julia crazy with not allowing us to change our ranking system?!
This is a fun, pick-me-up episode that is just what our post-Christmas January's need! So settle in beside your fire, close your eyes to pretend your Christmas lights are still up, relax, and enjoy! And don't forget - keep your eyes on your podcast feeds this Thursday for the "Prologue" of Another Christmas Story!

Christmas Eve 2020 Story - Dr. Seuss' 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas!'
Thursday Dec 24, 2020
Thursday Dec 24, 2020
Merry Christmas Eve, everybody! We know that 2020 has been a tough year for everybody - though we hope you've all been good so Santa slides down your chimney later tonight with gifts! (Don't worry - Dr. Fauci has confirmed that he traveled up to the North Pole to vaccinate the big man himself, so no need to worry about Santa quarantining!) As such, we chose this year's annual Christmas Eve story because it serves as a reminder of what Christmas is truly about, which we believe we can all use this year given how different the holidays are going to be. That's right - we've chosen to read the beloved and iconic 1957, Dr. Seuss classic, How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Spoiler alert - this may just be our favorite Christmas Eve story we've recorded yet. We hope you like it and enjoy it as much as we do! :)
